Bo Bai
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Bo Bai founded AGF in November 2016 and serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to AGF, Dr. Bai worked for Warburg Pincus from 2009-2016 as a Partner and Managing Director, where he led its investments in the energy, industrials and business services sectors in Asia. Previously, he worked at First Reserve Corporation and Goldman Sachs. Dr. Bai is also the Chairman of East Low Carbon, and a director of Capital Heating, Four Rivers, Hosjoy, Huitongda, Low Carbon Environment, and AIPark. Dr. Bai holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Modern Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, a certificate from the Sloan School of Management at MIT in the Financial Technology Option and a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT.

Jin Zhang
Chief Operating Officer and Founding Partner
Dr. Jin Zhang was a Partner/Managing Director and Deputy Head of China and led Asia Pacific's energy practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, where he had spent years advising private equity firms, multinational corporations and Chinese enterprises on leadership issues and searching for board members, CEOs and senior executives. He had extensive experience in energy, manufacturing and automotive sectors. Previously, he held management and technical positions with ExxonMobil, Halliburton, and McKinsey in Houston. Dr. Zhang holds a B.S. degree in Modern Physics from University of Science and Technology of China and a M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree, both in Nuclear Engineering, from Purdue University.

Mr. Sam Wu has 18 years of extensive experience in investment field. He focused on managing his personal investment portfolios from 2016 to 2018. Previously, he served as a senior director at Carlyle Group (2007-2016), where he led and participated in numerous Carlyle investments in China that had successful exits including IPOs on the mainland board and in Hong Kong. From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Wu worked for BNP Paribas’ Asia Equity Research Department focusing on commodities and energy industries, and earlier with China International Capital Corporation focusing on consumer, healthcare and financing industries. Mr. Wu holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Beijing University of International Business and Economics.

Ms. Qing Chen has nearly 25 years of experience in investment banking and debt financing field. Before she joined Asia Green Fund, she was the head of investment banking division at Beijing Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). At ICBC, she led and executed a large number of equity and debt investments across renewable energy, technology, manufacturing, and real estate and infrastructure sectors. She also led investments in more than 20 funds such as the National Advanced Manufacturing Fund and Xiaomi Industry Fund. Ms. Chen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Taiyuan University of Science and Technology.

Bin Wang
Executive Director, Investment
Mr. Bin Wang has 10 years of experience in private equity, management consulting and engineering services. Before joining Asia Green Fund in January 2017, Mr. Wang was an Investment Manager at Everbright Holdings New Energy Fund, focusing on private equity investments in the areas of environmental protection, renewable energy, and new materials that were mostly related to building energy efficiency, industrial solid waste treatment, new energy vehicles, and distributed energy investments. Previously, Mr. Wang was a management consultant with McKinsey & Co providing management consulting services to global and Chinese companies. Mr. Wang started his career as an environmental engineer in Anchor QEA in Boston, involved in remediation of major waterways in USA. Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Nanjing University, a Master's degree in Environmental Energy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Master's of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business.

Allen Yu
Director, Investment
Mr. Allen Yu focuses on investments in logistics and mobility sectors and IBS Internet related opportunities. Previously, he worked at PwC Deal Strategy team where he completed more than 20 strategy and M&A consulting projects for private equity and corporate clients, with industry coverage of real estate, consumer, healthcare, industrial goods, and TMT. Mr. Yu holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from Peking University and a Master's in Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Kuan Huang
Head of Green Technology Research Institute
Dr. Huang has 10+ year experiences in green technology R&D and commercialization. Prior to joining Asia Green Fund in October, 2018, Dr. Huang led the product development and marketing at Picarro, a Silicon Valley-based technology company with specialty in analytical instruments and IoT for environment monitoring, public utilities and semi-conductor industries. Previously, he was the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) “Climate and Global Change” Fellow and a Princeton-BP Carbon Mitigation Initiative researcher focusing on environment monitoring technologies and carbon policy. Dr. Huang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from Peking University, a Master’s degree in Earth Science from Hong Kong University and a Ph.D. in environmental science and engineering from Princeton University.

Jiashu Wu
Vice President, Investment
Ms. Jiashu Wu focuses on logistics and IBS Internet investments at Asia Green Fund. Previously she worked in the Financial Transaction Advisory Division at Ernst & Young, and participated in several domestic and international M&A deals in the finance, healthcare, TMT, and other industries. Ms. Wu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University and a Master's in Business Administration degree from HEC Paris.

Dingbang Liao
Vice President, Investment
Mr. Dingbang Liao focuses on Logistics and Mobility investments at Asia Green Fund. Previously, he was a Vice President of Investments at Castleton Commodities International (CCI), responsible for energy assets and infrastructure investments in China, and was deeply involved in a number of overseas mergers and acquisitions by Chinese listed companies. Prior to CCI, Mr. Liao worked at Ivory Capital and at Deutsche Bank in Singapore in energy, infrastructure, and other industries in Southeast Asia. Mr. Liao holds a Financial MBA from China-Europe International Business School, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management from Nanjing University. He is also a Chartered Accountant in Singapore.

Blake Lantero
Vice President, Investment
Mr. Blake Lantero works as VP of Investment , responsible for investment activities in the U.S. and also involved in cross-border deals. Previously, Mr. Blake Lantero was an MBA associate at Energize Ventures focused on sustainable energy technology investments, as well as a technology consultant with Accenture specializing in smart grid implementations within the utilities sector. Prior to that, he was at General Electric working on new product design for the transportation division. Blake received his MBA from Chicago Booth and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Meimei Weng
Vice President, Investment
Ms. Meimei Weng focuses on advanced manufacturing and cross-border investments at Asia Green Fund. Previously, she worked at the Investment Banking division of BNP Paribas for more than five years as an Analyst and then an Associate, where she covered cross-border M&A transactions in oil & gas, automotive, TMT, healthcare, and consumer goods & services industries. Meimei holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance and a Master's degree in Management from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. During her study, she had exchange programs at HEC Montréal in Canada, HEC Paris in France, and Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden.

Wei Zhao
Manager, Investment
Mr. Wei Zhao interned in the Beijing office of CME Group from 2014 to 2015, analyzing the internationalization of RMB, China's capital market opening and China's financial and economic regulatory policies and regulations.In the summer of 2016, he worked as an intern in the investment department of Jiutai Fund Management Co. LTD. Mr. Wei Zhao holds a bachelor's degree in urban planning and economics from Peking University and a master's degree in public administration (MPA) from Columbia University.
